What already exists
Do not build in a vacuum.
This desk intentionally mixes school, adult, jazz, gospel, rock/venue and accessibility examples. They are not ANCHOR programs. They show the real Arkansas ecosystem that a statewide music network should connect to, learn from and avoid duplicating.
Why venues belong in the system
A band program that never reaches the local music scene is still a silo.
For rock, metal, indie, country, hip-hop-adjacent live projects and experimental music, the real pathway often runs through small venues, community festivals, DIY events, churches, bars/clubs with age restrictions, civic events and independent promoters—not a school auditorium. ANCHOR should teach how those ecosystems work while maintaining age, safety and public-funding boundaries.
